Łukasz de Bnin Opaliński of Clan Łodzia (1612–1666[1]) was a Polish nobleman. He was a poet, writer and political activist, one of the most important of Polish political writers of the 17th century.
Łukasz Opaliński in 1632[]
Łukasz Opaliński led a Saxon/Polish cavalry charge against the USE Third Division, during the Battle of Zwenkau . The volley guns decimated the horsemen and sent them into full retreat.
Like his friend Jozef Wojtowicz, Opaliński wanted the Commonwealth to reform so as to prevent the destruction it met in the original timeline, but found his efforts thwarted by the "pigheaded" King and Sejm.
At one point, Opaliński asked God why He cursed his country with the most stupid, most arrogant, and most pigheaded of all people to lead it.
Lukasz agreed with Jozef on how scary Gretchen Ritcher is after meeting her in person.
After helping the USE liberate Lower Silesia, he wondered how long until the Commonwealth finds out and hangs him and Jozef for treason.
