Andrew "Andy" Yost managed the McDonald's in Grantville. After the Ring of Fire, Yost's establishment became the headquarters of the Committees of Correspondence and was rechristened the "Freedom Arches". Yost swore he knew nothing about it, but he had stayed on as manager of what was now the Grantville Freedom Arches, and - based on pure coincidence - was on the Steering Committee of Gretchen Richter's rapidly growing band of radicals.
