Down-timer

In the 1632 series, "down-timer" is a term referring to any person born in Early Modern Europe. "Down-time" is also an adjective referring to 17th century devices, techniques, customs, etc., and a noun referring to the new timeline created by the arrival of Grantville in the 17th century.
