Elvis Aaron Presley (January 8, 1935 – August 16, 1977) was one of the most popular American singers of the 20th century. A cultural icon, he is widely known by the single name Elvis. He is often referred to as the "King of Rock and Roll" or simply "the King".

Elvis Presley in 1632[]

The music of Elvis Presley was brought to the 17th century after the Ring of Fire. Some of his music was used as part of a psychological attack at the Battle of the Wartburg.

There was a framed velvet portrait of Presley that hung in a building in downtown Grantville with the appellation "Elvis—Still the King". The painting was knocked out of its frame during the Croat raid on the town when a stray shot knocked it off the wall. It fell on the head of a woman, causing a concussion and other more minor injuries. Lawrence Mazzare and Jules Mazarin helped the woman. Mazarin inspected the portrait and, seeing Elvis's divine look, mistook the singer for a "saint" much to Mazzare's amusement. Mazzare explained Elvis to Mazarin [1]

When Eddie Cantrell was held as a prisoner of war by the Danes, and asked to name the best gunsmith in the United States of Europe, he gave the name "Elvis Presley".[2]
