"Steady Girl"[]
- by Eric Flint
After the events of "The Austro-Hungarian Connection", Denise Beasley convinces Bob Kelly to give Eddie Junker flying lessons as "compensation" for having been bombed by a Kelly Aviation plane. Denise and Eddie, along with Noelle Stull and Minnie Hugelmair, go to work for Don Francisco Nasi's independent intelligence operation, and prepare to move to Prague. Eddie declares his intentions toward Denise, and is introduced to the up-time concept of "going steady".
