Prior to the Ring of Fire, Julie Drahuta worked for the Marion County, West Virginia child protection office. Afterward, she became a child protection officer for the Grantville Police Department. She also served as the "interface" between Grantville and the down-time child prodigies, most notably Blaise and Jacqueline Pascal, who came to live there.
By April of 1636, she had moved to Bamberg to become Director of Social Services for the State of Thuringia-Franconia.
