Ken Beasley was the owner of 250 Club in Grantville. He was notorious for his bigotry towards Germans, and advertised his establishment as a place devoid of them. His prejudiced policies caused his establishment to lose patrons to the more tolerant and popular Thuringen Gardens. In turn, Ken's tavern grew more seedier and decadent as some of his employees decided to quit altogether.

Ultimately, Ken was forced to close down the 250 Club due to new bars and taverns being established in Grantville and as well being pressured by his wife Kimberly, who turned the building into a beauty parlor, a business which proved more successful than the 250 Club due to her toleration to down-timers.[1]
