Leopold Cavriani was a facilitator. He first met Ed Piazza at the Rudolstadt Colloquy. He appears again in the Bavarian Crisis in which he goes to the Upper Palatinate on an economic mission.
Though his family is Italian, Leopold's first language was French. His grandfather had left Naples over progressive religious ideaologies, setting up a branch of the family firm 'Cavriani Brothers' in Geneva.
Known children are his daughter Idelette (born around 1618) and son Marc.
