Sophie Caisdatter Rantzau (December 1616 — May 16, 1635) was a Danish noblewoman, daughter of Cai Rantzau and Anne Lykke. In October of 1631, she married Laurids Ulfeldt, brother of Corfitz Ulfeldt.[1][2][3] Aside from these basic biographical details, little information about her life is available.

Sophie Rantzau in 1632[]

The butterfly effect allowed Sophie Rantzau to avoid her historical death, and apparently canceled out her historical marriage. In mid-1635, she traveled to the Caribbean with Anne Cathrine and Leonora.
