Steve Jennings was a resident of Grantville. Down on his luck before the Ring of Fire, Jennings had the opportunity to restart his life when he had the idea of introducing bicycles to 17th century Europe. In the early months of 1633, Jennings created and co-founder of the Jennings, Reich and Kuhn company and made a monopoly in creating crude but functional bicycles that were affordable to the average family. As his business boomed, Jennings planned on introducing cycle rickshaws.
Michael Stearns and Frank Jackson observed the growing presence of Jennings, Reich and Kuhn brand bicycles, and cited Jennings as one of the many poor Americans in Grantville who became rich after applying modern technology to the past
