Uriel Abrabanel was the brother of Balthazar Abrabanel. Like his brother and father before him, Uriel was actively engaged in espionage. He and his family maintained a substantial network.
In 1631, Balthazar and his daughter Rebecca attempted to meet Uriel in Badenburg. The two were instead rescued by the people of the time-lost town of Grantville. As both Balthazar and Rebecca grew quite accustomed to the town, they decided to stay there. Uriel, pleased with his situation in Badenburg, opted not to move to Grantville.
