World War I

World War I is the first war of the 20th century. It involved all the major powers at the time and was fought out in more than one front. The death and destruction the war has caused was unrivaled by wars fought in the past. Fifteen million people died from the war, but the causes of the war had not been stopped. Instead it brought the world into World War II.
